Burke-Gilman Trail between University Ave and Brooklyn
This fun annual event will be held in a bike commuter-friendly University of Washington park, adjacent to the Burke-Gilman Trail (between Brooklyn Ave & University). We'll feature music, fun contests, low-cost helmets sale (courtesy of UW's Hall Health), and complimentary Bike Fits by the Group Health Cooperative Bike Fit Team.

For three hours only on Friday, May 21 we are turning the streets of downtown Ballard into one massive bike party! Swing by Seattle's coolest neighborhood after work or school and help celebrate Cascade Bicycle Club’s Bike to Work Day.

Bike Month Awards Celebration
A fabulous downtown Seattle venue (TBA soon!)
We all rode our hearts (and other various body parts) out this month during the contest - so now it’s time to celebrate with your teammates, fellow Challenge participants and the rest of the community.
This fun new party not only marks the end of Bike Month, but the beginning of a new and rewarding way of getting to and from work for many people. We will be inviting several V.I.P guest speakers and awarding Bike Month prizes on stage to all the winning teams.
As a further incentive to attend, we'll provide all attendees with a complimentary beer ticket and a chance to win big in our onsite drawing (must be present to win!). No RSVP is necessary - if you are part of the Group Health Commute Challenge you are officially on the “guest list”.
