How your funds support community cycling:
- $35 buys 5 bicycle helmets for needy kids
- $50 buys bike safety curriculum materials for 3 elementary school teachers
- $125 buys a bicycle camp scholarship for one child
- $250 provides one day of technical review of transportation plans
- $500 or more supports our efforts to educate politicians and transportation planners about bicycle-friendly policies and facilities.
- $1000 helps us run 5 "Tips for Riding in Traffic" courses for groups of adults
- $2500 establishes "Safe Routes to Schools" programs in two elementary or middle schools and supports their participation in "Bike to Work/School Day"
- $5000 allows us to partially support the "Basics of Bicycling" bike safety education curriculum in one district, for one year.
- Donations of any size support our efforts to educate politicians and transportation planners about bicycle-friendly facilities and needed infrastructure.
