Bicycle Programs, Rodeos & Assemblies

Bike Rodeos

Bike Rodeos are an exciting way for kids to learn great biking skills and develop a greater understanding of bike safety while on a bike. A safety course can be set up on a playground or parking lot for a fun two-hour event. A Cascade rodeo is a great way for anyone from schools to fire departments to parent groupso teach children about bike safety.

There is no charge for borrowing rodeo props or for educational materials. However, we would appreciate donation to offset the costs of rodeo supplies and printing.

Cascade Bicycle Club supplies the following items:

  • Directions and advice for those interested in conducting a rodeo:
  • Rodeo props (must be reserved in advance)
  • Rodeo literature for both kids and adults

Optional Items:

  • Videos: Kids’ Eye View (for parents/adults,)
  • Bill Nye the Science Guy’s About Helmets (for kids)

Not Supplied: Staff and Volunteers to run the course.
